Remember, density will always dictate the amount of hair needed. For volume, we recommend 2 to 3 boxes. For length, we recommend 4 to 6 boxes. The number of boxes will be determined by you or your client’s biological hair density and their desired result.

For length it's important to eliminate any lines of demarcation in the hair, this means blending from the existing haircut into the new length. The stronger the perimeter (ends of the hair) the more hair you'll need to add in order to blend seamlessly.
